United Rentals last week closed its Hudsonville, Mich., branch according to the Grand Rapids Press. Fred Bratman, United Rentals’ vice president of corporate communications, told the newspaper that the closing of the facility is part of the company’s ongoing process of examining which branches are profitable and which might require consolidation.

Bratman said some of the Hudsonville employees might be transferred to the company’s Grand Rapids location.
