Toromont Industries Ltd. last week appointed Garry Mihaichuk president and CEO of its wholly owned subsidiary, Toromont Energy Systems. Mihaichuk is expected to assume his responsibilities in mid-November.
Mihaichuk most recently served as vice president of a major, Canadian-based, integrated energy and energy-related public company. He has more than 30 years of experience in leading and building businesses in the energy, petrochemicals and infrastructure sectors in Canada, the United States and internationally.
Calgary, Alberta-based Toromont Industries Ltd. operates through two business segments: The Equipment Group and the Compression Group. The Equipment Group includes one of the world's largest Caterpillar dealerships by revenue and geographic territory in addition to Battlefield Equipment Rentals, No. 22 on the RER 100. The Compression Group is a North American leader specializing in the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of compression systems for natural gas, fuel gas and carbon dioxide in addition to process systems and industrial and recreational refrigeration systems.
