TNT Crane & Rigging, a privately held, full-service crane and rigging operator, has purchased the assets of Americrane, based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Its owner Kenny Emigh will remain with TNT.
The combined company will have 94 cranes servicing Texas and Louisiana from branches in Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Edinburg, Texas, and Lake Charles, La.
TNT is owned by MML Capital, based in Stanford, Conn., which has invested $2 billion in 81 portfolio companies in 11 countries. TNT acquired Kuhn Crane Service, Corpus Christi, Texas, in May 2008.
