Thompson Pump Moves into Larger Panama City, Fla., Facility

Thompson Pump & Manufacturing now occupies a larger, 6,200-square-foot facility in Panama City, Fla., to better accommodate the needs of its customers across 49 counties in Florida, Alabama and Georgia.

Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. this week announced that its Panama City, Fla., branch has moved into a larger facility with more than 6,200 total square feet and 1.5 acres of property to better accommodate its growing customer needs for pump rentals, sales, parts and service.

The Panama City, Fla., branch office, one of 20 Thompson Pump branches nationwide, covers a total of 49 area counties; 13 in Florida, 11 in Alabama, and 25 in Georgia. Under the direction of branch manager, Jim Brown, and salesmen, Daniel Raffield and Rick Waters, the branch provides a full line of Thompson Pump products for sale and rental along with the expertise to provide solutions for tough dewatering, bypass and special pumping applications.

“Our new facility reflects Thompson Pump’s commitment to a strong and growing presence in the Florida, Georgia and Alabama markets,” said Johnny Britt, Thompson Pump Gulf Coast regional manager. “The move optimizes Thompson Pump’s ability to continue to deliver high-performance, superior quality pumps and accessories with maximum efficiency, quality, and precision.”

Thompson Pump, a family-owned company based in Port Orange, Fla., is a full-service manufacturer and provider of pumps, pumping equipment and engineering expertise. It is No. 62 on the RER 100.
