Naples, Fla.-based Equipment Source now offers the full line of Terex compact construction equipment to customers in Florida. Equipment Source serves general construction and specialty contractors with sales and rental opportunities, as well as full-service, parts and warranty capabilities.
Founded in 1997, Equipment Source president Bill Martinez took over operations in 2010 and has grown the business from nine to 18 employees and serves customers out of six service bays. In taking on the Terex equipment line, he plans to grow the business to $1 million in new equipment sales in the coming years.
“Although the construction economy in our region has improved, used equipment prices remain high,” said Martinez. “We believe the new equipment market is ready to grow again, and with the Terex line we can offer our customers high-quality products at a low cost of ownership. Our customers are responding well to the Terex compact equipment line — we have a lot of immediate opportunities with the skid steers and compact track loaders, as well as several near-future possibilities with the loader backhoes and rollers.”
Terex Corp. manufactures equipment for applications in the construction, infrastructure, quarrying, mining, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utility and manufacturing industries.
