Sunbelt Rentals has formed a new Safety Training Group to offer regularly scheduled operator training and “Train the Trainer” courses for Sunbelt Rentals customers.
Operator training classes utilize hands-on training, focusing on safe operation of aerial work platforms, forklifts, backhoe loaders and skid-steer loaders. Train the trainer courses certify participants to conduct AWP and forklift operator training.
Catherine Whitney, Sunbelt vice president of risk management and safety said it is important to provide customers with a “consistent, high-quality resource for safety training and materials.” Sunbelt was recognized by Occupational Hazards magazine, which named Sunbelt Rentals one of “America’s Safest Companies” in 2008.
