Sunbelt Rentals opened a new general tool location in Oklahoma City, its first branch in Oklahoma.

The 5,300-square-foot facility and five-acre yard will stock more than $3 million in fleet. Oklahoma City encompasses a more than 600-square-mile area across four counties, one of the five largest cities in the United States in geographical area.

“Operating from the state’s largest city and having convenient access to several major highways positions us well to service contractors and homeowners throughout the greater area,” said Sunbelt Rentals president and CEO Joe Phelan.

Based in Fort Mill, S.C., Sunbelt Rentals is No. 3 on the RER 100 and now has facilities in 35 states and the District of Columbia.
