Sunbelt Rentals will celebrate the grand opening of its new Columbus, Ga., general tool location Friday, March 4 with a barbecue lunch and promotional giveaways. Representatives from ProCut, Terramite, Husqvarna, Hilti, Edco and John Deere will offer product information.

Located near Fort Benning and the Georgia/Alabama border, the new branch expands Sunbelt Rentals’ service capabilities in the south-central section of both states.

“With the new location, we’re able to respond to a wide range of customer needs — from pumps and power generation equipment to scaffolding, general tools and specialty equipment,” said Chuck Caruthers, Sunbelt Rentals district manager. “Sunbelt Rentals is focused on providing superior service and support for our customers and we’re thrilled to be in a position to build new relationships in the area.”

Based in Fort Mill, S.C., Sunbelt Rentals is No. 3 on the RER 100.
