Spider, a division of SafeWorks LLC last week promoted Steve Cabral to the newly created position of industrial sales representative in its Eastern region.

In this new role, Cabral will be responsible for driving suspended access and safety solutions to facility owners, general contractors and specialty subcontractors on infrastructure, energy and industrial plant structures.

A 13-year employee of Spider, Cabral joined the company as a field service technician before advancing to an outside sales specialist in 1998. His extensive knowledge of suspended access work and his drive to delight Spider customers have garnered some of the company’s highest customer satisfaction scores.

“Today’s environment leaves zero margin of error for choosing suppliers,” said John Sotiroff, vice president, sales and distribution. “Steve deeply understands the work performed in industrial facilities and conveys that knowledge into access solutions that reduce downtime, plain and simple.”
