Snorkel hired Steve Watts as vice president of distribution. Watts previously worked for the company in the 1990s.

Snorkel North America named Steve Watts vice president of distribution with the goal of expanding the company’s dealer network.

Watts, who worked for Snorkel in the 1990s as a regional manager when it was owned by Omniquip, returns to the company after a stint at Takeuchi where he was responsible for establishing its dealer network across North America. He is a veteran of more than 25 years in the construction equipment industry.

In Watts’ new role he will be based in California and be responsible for developing new distribution channels and markets in the U.S. He will work closely with George Fitchett, Snorkel’s vice president of strategic accounts.
