Experienced construction equipment executive Tim Frank was named chairman of Sany America. Frank will have overall responsibility for manufacturing, sales, marketing and support for all Sany equipment products in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America, effective immediately.

Tim knows what needs to be done to establish Sany as a market leader as it is in China and in other regions around the world. He will pursue this goal with vigor.”

Frank was most recently a consultant working on global strategic planning for the board of Sany Group in Shanghai. Previously, he was vice president of retail distribution and senior vice president of operations strategy and marketing at Volvo Construction Equipment, Asheville, N.C. He also served at Volvo as vice president of sales and marketing, and vice president of excavators, helping to grow that company’s market share and profitability over the past eight years. Frank previously served in various global sales and marketing capacities at CNH Global and Caterpillar.
