Rudd Equipment Co., the authorized Volvo Construction Equipment dealer for all or part of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, will take over the sales and marketing of Volvo road machinery products at its branches in Charleston, West Va.; Pittsburgh and Clearfield, Pa. These branches have, for years, provided sales and service of Volvo’s general purpose construction and compact equipment.

The road machinery product line will include soil and asphalt compaction, Blaw-Knox and ABG paving, milling and road maintenance equipment.

Based in Louisville, Ky., Rudd now represents the complete line of Volvo CE’s construction equipment — wheel loaders, articulated haulers, excavators, compact equipment, compaction and paver road building machinery. The company also has sales and service facilities in Evansville, Ft. Wayne, and Indianapolis, Ind.; Corbin, Louisville and Prestonburg, Ky., and St. Louis, Mo.

Rudd Equipment also maintains its own parts freight system to provide 98-percent next-day availability to its customers.
