RSC Equipment Rentals today named Juan Corsillo senior vice president sales, marketing and corporate operations. Corsillo will oversee sales, marketing, business development and product management for RSC.

“Juan has a demonstrated track record of leading large sales organizations and driving results,” said RSC president and CEO Erik Olsson. “As we continue to put resources into our marketing and selling efforts to grow our business, especially in the industrial or non-construction segments, the addition of Juan with his vast sales and marketing skill set and proven leadership will make a significant difference in and contribution toward achieving those goals.”

Corsillo, 43, has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing roles in the financial services industry, including 17 years with the General Electric Co. in Toronto, San Francisco and Connecticut. In recent years, Corsillo held a number of senior commercial leadership roles at various GE Capital entities, including senior vice president of sales operations of GE Capital Americas and chief marketing officer of GE Capital Solutions and U.S. Equipment Financing. His responsibilities encompassed sales force operations and effectiveness, long-term strategy development, new product and market initiatives, market and competitive intelligence, customer loyalty, segmentation and communications.

Corsillo earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in entrepreneurship from Concordia University in Montreal.
