David Rowles has been appointed president, Bobcat Americas, effective Sept. 1, according to Richard Pedtke, president, Ingersoll Rand Compact Vehicle Technologies. Rowles will be based out of Bobcat’s West Fargo, N.D., headquarters. Rowles replaces Scott Nelson, who recently accepted the position of president, Bobcat European Served Area, where he will support Bobcat’s long-term global expansion goals to better serve its dealers and customers worldwide.
Rowles brings almost 29 years of experience with Ingersoll Rand to Bobcat, recently serving as president of utility equipment for Construction Technologies. Rowles has previous experience as Bobcat’s sales and marketing leader for Asia Pacific/Latin America, as well as in the capacity of vice president of sales and marketing for Club Car.
“David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bobcat Company,” Pedtke said. “His knowledge of the construction market, experience in dealer distribution and proven leadership will be advantageous to Bobcat as we continue to develop and implement our long term growth plans.”
Ingersoll Rand’s Compact Vehicle Technologies Sector includes the Bobcat brand and the Club Car brands.
