Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers topped CD $34 million in a one-day auction last week. Bidders at the auction came from 14 countries — including the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Mexico — as well as 32 U.S. states and 12 Canadian provinces and territories.

More than 500 Internet bidders purchased nearly CD $2 million worth of trucks and equipment at the Alberta sale, with Internet participants constituting 15 percent of the buyers or runner-up bidders.
