The Rental Place Acquires Sonoma Rentals
The Rental Place, a Sonoma County, Calif., rental company with locations in Sebastopol, Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, has acquired Sonoma Rentals, Sonoma, Calif., from former owner Jim Hanson.
The Rental Place was founded in 1989 by Mike Sutliff and his wife Linda. Sutliff had previously worked for Big 4 Rents for 15 years and opened branches for that company in Petaluma, Corte Madera and Vallejo, Calif.
Most of the employees of Sonoma Rentals will remain, according to sonomanews.com, but the new owners plan to change the name to The Rental Place.
Sonoma Rentals has been doing business since 1976.
