Penn-Jersey Machinery, the authorized Volvo Construction Equipment dealer in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, has reached an agreement to assume the sales and marketing of road machinery products formerly marketed by Binder Machinery Co. Binder is a Komatsu and Ingersoll Rand dealer based in South Plainfield, N.J.

Volvo CE acquired the road machinery division of Ingersoll Rand in April 2007. The acquired product line includes soil and asphalt compaction, Blaw-Knox Paving, milling and road maintenance equipment and material-handling machines.

Penn-Jersey currently operates six full sales, marketing and service branches in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania and has added the road machinery products to its construction equipment inventories, and will provide complete parts and service, Volvo said.
