National Trench Safety, Houston-based trench and traffic safety equipment rental and sales specialists, hired Randy Norris as branch sales manager for its Austin, Texas, branch.
Norris is a 23-year veteran of the trench safety industry.
“Randy began his trench safety career in 1989 with the Plant Co.,” said Wes Jones, regional vice president of NTS. “He stayed with the Plank Co. team through its successor company, NES Trench Shoring. Most recently Randy was with Equipment Rental Service located in Austin. We are thrilled that someone who has over 23 years of direct market experience in our industry and who also has been providing project solutions to our customer base in the Austin market has joined the NTS team. Randy is recognized as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable specialists and we anticipate our customers being able to leverage Randy’s extensive industry experience on future projects.”
NTS has branch operations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas and Louisiana, and plans to open at least two new branches in 2012.
