National Trench Safety Relocates Sacramento, Calif., Branch

National Trench Safety, a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, last week the relocation of its branch operation in Sacramento, Calif.

“We are very excited about the changes in our Sacramento operation,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. “When we entered the market through the acquisition of an existing traffic safety company in January of this year, we anticipated significant market potential for our expanded products and services offerings. We felt that in order to properly service the Trench Safety and Traffic Safety markets we needed to expand the operational footprint and yard capacity of the existing branch location. The new facility we located has been completely remodeled and is a true showplace. The new branch sits on 4.8 acres and has 12,500 square feet of office, showroom and warehouse. With over 3.5 acres of paved storage yard, the new location is ideal to handle the expanded trench safety equipment we have moved into the market.”

The new Sacramento branch will continue to be managed by Ed Pal, who has more than 16 years direct experience in the trench and traffic safety industry in Sacramento. “We are fortunate to have Ed heading up our Sacramento operation,” Chilton said. “Ed has built a highly experienced sales and operational support team that are all well known in the market.”

Houston-based National Trench Safety has 13 branch locations spread among the states of Arizona, California, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas and Utah. NTS plans to open additional locations in 2012. For more information about NTS, visit www.ntsafety.com.
