Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week said it will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, general rental facility on Friday, Aug. 25. The event will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will showcase the facility’s recently renovated 2,200-square-foot showroom and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.
As part of Hertz’s commitment to expand services available for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, HERC Dartmouth offers a broad range of products, including lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, HERC Dartmouth still offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl.
The facility also stocks rock trucks, water trucks and specialty equipment to serve the offshore oil industry and rail lines. Equipment is available to rent or buy.
At the grand re-opening, HERC management and members of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce will participate in a ribbon cutting.
Park Ridge, N.J.-based Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hertz Corp., is No. 3 on the RER 100.
