Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Burlington, Wash., and Greer, S.C., general rental facilities on Friday, Aug. 3. Both events will take place at the stores between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will showcase the facilities’ renovated showrooms and newly expanded product lines, which include small tools, construction equipment and contractors’ supplies.
The new 3,000-square-foot Burlington showroom and office, and 3,600-square-foot warehouse and heavy equipment shop, are all housed on a 2.5-acre lot. The renovated Burlington facility specializes in industrial equipment.
The new Greer facility consists of a 5,000-square-foot showroom and small equipment shop housed on a 3-acre lot.
The grand re-openings are part of the company’s general rental program expansion, which HERC began in 2003 in support of its commitment to increase services and products for small, medium and large contractors as well as homeowners.
Both newly renovated locations offer a broad range of new products, including roto-tillers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding, and offer a wide assortment of products from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl.
At the grand re-openings, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, a free lunch will be provided and giveaways will be provided on-site while supplies last. HERC management will participate in ribbon cutting ceremonies, and in Greer, Mayor Rick Danner will assist.
