Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. celebrated the grand re-opening of its Richland/Jackson, Miss., general rental facility on Friday. The company also plans to celebrate the grand opening of its Seattle general rental facility on Friday, Oct. 6. Both events will take place at the stores from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will showcase the facility's new showroom and newly-expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors' supplies.
As part of Hertz's commitment to expand services available for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, both renovated branches offer a broad range of products, including lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, HERC Richland/Jackson still offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl. Equipment is available to rent or buy.
Both events will feature vendor demonstrations and literature available, a free catered lunch and on-site giveaways. HERC management will be in attendance at both events and Jackson Mayor Frank Melton will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Jackson.
The new Jackson facility features 3,000 square feet of showroom space and is housed on a two-acre lot. It is the first and only Hertz Equipment general rental facility in the state.
The new 10,000-square-foot Seattle facility is housed on a three-and-a-half acre lot in downtown Seattle’s SODO District. The facility’s features include offices, training rooms, an 8,000-square-foot warehouse and a 6,000-square-foot heavy equipment shop.
Headquartered in Park Ridge, N.J., Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. is No. 3 on the RER 100.
