H&E Equipment Services is nearing completion on a new Reno, Nev., facility that will be almost two-and-a-half times the size of its current branch.
“The shop will be equipped with a 5-ton overhead crane,” said Rich Esau, Reno branch manager. “This, combined with our significantly larger shop area, will greatly enhance and expand our service capabilities. The new store will also have a full parts warehouse, complete with a customer parts counter area, a customer rental counter, a new and used sales department, customer training and conference rooms and a large equipment yard – 4.5 acres.”
H&E said the facility should be complete and occupied by mid-May with a Grand Opening scheduled for August.
The Reno branch is a full-service dealer for Cushman-EZ-Go, Factory Cat, Gehl, Genie, Hydrotek, JLG, Multiquip, Lift King, Skytrak, Taylor Tymco and Yale.
H&E is also constructing a new facility in Fontana, Calif, which will be a “significant addition to the three current California locations in La Mirada, Bakersfield and San Diego,” according to Perry Dau, H&E’s vice president of west coast operations.
Dau said the facility will be 22,000 square feet with 16 service bays, equipped with a 5-ton overhead crane. “Construction began mid-February with doors opening some time in September,” he added.
Based in Baton Rouge, La., H&E Equipment Services is No. 11 on the RER 100.
