BATON ROUGE, La. — H&E Equipment Services said this week that in conjunction with its previously announced growth strategy, it plans to add new locations and is aggressively looking to hire qualified senior executives, branch managers, and sales representatives to staff them. The hiring plan includes a broad training program to ensure that newly hired employees are well educated in H&E operations and are prepared to go to work as new locations come on line.
“With the strength of our balance sheet and existing relationships we are well positioned to take advantage of what we see as the continuing improvement in the rental sector by organically enlarging our footprint in line with our previously disclosed growth strategy,” said Brad Barber, H&E Equipment Services’ chief operating officer.
H&E, based in Baton Rouge, La., is a leading rental player in construction, industrial, mining, manufacturing and material handling industries. It has 65 locations throughout the Gulf Coast, mid-Atlantic, Intermountain, Southwest and Northwest regions. H&E is No. 11 on the RER 100.
