Great American Group to Sell Flashco Fleet via Webcast Public Auction

Great American Group, a provider of asset disposition, valuation and appraisal services, this week announced that it will conduct a disposition of machinery, equipment, vehicles and tools on behalf of Bakersfield, Calif., rental firm, Flashco Inc.

Great American Group will conduct the public auction sale live, on-site, today in a traditional outcry sale platform with a simultaneous internet webcast allowing for dynamic, competitive, online bidding.

Since 1976, Flashco has provided rentals and sales of construction machinery and equipment, vocational trucks and contractor's tools. Located at the foot of California's San Joaquin Valley, Flashco specialized in serving the traffic control industry throughout Bakersfield and greater Kern County.

“We’ve got something for everyone in this auction,” said Mark Weitz, president of Great American Group’s Wholesale and Industrial Services. “We’ll be selling a variety of late-model, well-maintained, major brand name construction machinery, support equipment, and work trucks, but there’s also a nice selection of professional-grade hand and power tools and other items that will appeal to the smaller contractor or home-remodeling enthusiast.”

A Great American Group webcast auction allows those bidding online from anywhere with a web connection to participate in real time with buyers attending the live sale event. The auction will take place at 2910 Gateway Avenue in Bakersfield today, at 10 a.m. local time

Great American Group is a provider of asset disposition solutions and valuation and appraisal services to a wide range of retail, wholesale and industrial clients, as well as lenders, capital providers, private equity investors and professional service firms.
