Foley Finalizes Acquisition of Martin Tractor
Foley Equipment Co. last week closed a deal to acquire Martin Tractor Co., making Foley the Caterpillar dealer for all but six Kansas counties.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. With the acquisition Foley now employs more than 500 people in 17 locations across Kansas, and now operates in 99 counties. Foley has Cat Rental Store operations in Wichita, Great Bend, Topeka, Chanute and Manhattan. Based in Wichita, the company also has a rebuild facility.
Ann Konecny, Foley’s president and CEO said the acquisition will combine and align the strengths of the Foley and Martin organizations.
In addition to Caterpillar, Foley is a dealer for AGCO, AgChem, Trimble and a number of other manufacturers.
