Essex Rental Corp. said this week that it has been added to the list of public companies that comprise the Russell 3000 and Russell Global indexes. Essex’s inclusion became effective on the close of trading on June 27 following the Russell Investment Group’s annual reconstitution of these lists.
Essex is also included in the Russell Microcap Index.
“Our inclusion in the Russell indexes is an important milestone and gives Essex greater visibility among index investors and funds,” said Essex president and CEO Ron Schad.
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies.
Based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Essex Rental Corp. is No. 61 on the RER 100.
