Essex Rental Corp. last week appointed Kory Glen to the newly created position of director of finance of Essex Crane Rental Corp. The position was formed in response to Essex Crane becoming the sole operating subsidiary of Essex, a public company. Glen will be responsible for Essex’s external finance functions, including Securities Exchange Commission reporting and compliance. He will report directly to Martin Kroll, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Essex Crane, and CFO of Essex.
Prior to joining Essex, Glen spent five years as the director of financial reporting for Equity Residential, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. Additionally, he worked five years in public accounting with Ernst & Young LLP.
