Former California Rental Center Owner Edwin Hill Dies

Edwin Hill, former owner of Bixby Knolls Rentals in Signal Hill, Calif., died last week at the age of 88.

Hill started in the rental business in 1967 and ran the family-owned business until January 2008. He served the California Rental Association’s Founders Chapter in various capacities, including president. He was honored with CRA’s Bid Loeber Friendship Award in 2000.

Hill is survived by his second wife Esther Morgan-Hill and sons Lance and Terence.

Services will be held at Forest Lawn Long Beach, 1500 East San Antonio Dr., Long Beach, CA 90807, on Dec. 21.
