Las Vegas-based Ahern Rentals, the leading player in providing rental equipment for large construction projects on the Las Vegas Strip, last week said less than 1 percent of its fleet will be affected by Boyd Gaming Corp.’s recent decision to delay its large Echelon project. Because of Ahern Rentals’ diversification in the Las Vegas market, the company said the delay would have a minimal impact on its operations, although it will contribute to a reduction in Ahern’s near-term purchase of equipment for its rental fleet.
In other Ahern Rentals news, the company said it will hold a conference call for press and analysts Aug. 15 at 9 a.m. PDT to discuss matters covered in the company’s second quarter report on Form 10-Q, which Ahern expects to file Aug. 14. The conference will be open to the general public by dialing 800/761-5415. A replay will be available around 11 a.m at 800/633-8284, passcode 21390641. The 10-Q will be available at www.ahern.com.
Ahern Rentals is No. 8 on the RER 100.
