D. W. Ogg Equipment Co., Frederick, Md., recently added a rental division after 24 years of doing business as a farm equipment distributorship.

According to the Frederick News Post, owner Donald Ogg added construction equipment sales and rental because of changing land use in Frederick County where he does business. Ogg said there are fewer farm customers than before, although he will continue to sell and service farm equipment along with construction. Ogg said his company is targeting small contractors, landscaping businesses, homeowners doing reconstruction on their homes and properties as well as larger construction companies.

Ogg Rents’ experienced service crew gives the company the advantage of being able to maintain its equipment itself.
