CRA Tops 150 Exhibitors for Rental Rally

The California Rental Association has topped 150 exhibitors for its upcoming Bakersfield Rental Rally. The trade show, to be held at the Kern County Fairgrounds March 20-22, also offers a large demo area. Executive director Dale Blackwell said the Bakersfield location was chosen in response to member request that the show be held in an area they can drive to. “Bakersfield’s central location is convenient to many rental businesses,” Blackwell said.

CRA has kept attendance costs minimal. A $100 flat fee per company allows a rental company to bring as many of its employees as it wishes for the flat fee.

Show highlights include:

  • Outdoor demonstrations allowing hands-on time with equipment. Also party rental owners and staff can get tips on installing a dance floor and tent set-up and takedown.
  • Seminars and roundtable discussions include topics such as “How to Increase Profitability/Know Your Competition” presented by Alert MS; “Airless Paint Sprayer Maintenance” presented by Airlessco; “Servicing Skid Steer Loaders”, presented by Bobcat; “Hardwood Floor Sanding and Refinishing” (presented by Essex Silverline); “Diamond Blades” (presented by Smithton Diamond) and “Servicing Scissor Lifts” (presented by Genie).

An opening night cocktail party Tuesday night and a Wednesday evening cocktail party and western barbecue and dance will be part of the program. RV parking and camping is available on-site at the Fairgrounds for $15 per night.

The 153 exhibitors include Allmand Bros., American Honda, Atlas Copco Construction Tools, Barreto Mfg., Bobcat, ClearView Financial, DeWalt Industrial Tool, Ditch Witch, EDCO, General Wire Spring, Genisys Software, Ingersoll Rand, Market Line Computers, M-B-W, Mi-T-M Corp., MMD Equipment, Multiquip, Solutions by Computer, Titan Tool, Vermeer, Wacker, and more.
