Coble Trench Safety, a Greensboro, N.C.-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench safety equipment and OSHA-compliant training classes, and the rental and sales of traffic safety equipment, last week opened a new branch in Norfolk, Va., to service Norfolk, Tidewater and surrounding areas in Virginia.

“The Norfolk branch is our sixth expansion outside the state of North Carolina and will be the ninth fully staffed operation of Coble Trench Safety in the United States,” said CTS president Tom Coble.

The branch will be managed by Jeff Becker a veteran of the equipment rental business. “His successful track record and specific industry experience will truly be an asset to Coble Trench Safety.”

CTS plans to open at least one or two more branch operations in the coming year with additional branches to follow, added Coble. CTS began operations in October 2002.
