Coble Trench Safety, a specialist in the rental and sale of trench safety and traffic safety equipment, has opened a branch in Knoxville, Tenn., the company’s 11th location.
“The Knoxville branch is our eighth expansion outside the state of North Carolina, and will be the eleventh fully staffed operation of Coble Trench Safety in the United States,” said CTS president Tom Coble.
The new branch will be managed by Jon Frits, with Richard Overman, CTS’s southeast region sales manager.
“We are fortunate to have Jon Frits and Richard Overman heading up our new Knoxville location,” said Coble. “Their successful track record and specific industry experience will truly be an asset to Coble Trench Safety and our customers in the Knoxville market.”
CTS plans to open at least one or two other new branch operations in the coming year with additional branches to follow. The company is based in Greensboro, N.C., with branches in Atlanta; Baltimore; Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C.; Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Va.; and Washington, D.C.
