Coble Trench Safety, a Greensboro, N.C.-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench safety and traffic safety equipment as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, last week opened a new branch in Atlanta, which will serve the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding areas in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. The branch is the company’s 10th location.
The new branch will be managed by Matt Pace, with Coble Trench Safety’s vice president – operations Matt Coble helping develop the initial branch presence. Coble has years of experience on various levels in equipment rental.
“We are very excited about our new Atlanta operations,” said Tom Coble, CTS president. “The Atlanta branch is our seventh expansion outside the state of North Carolina, and will be the 10th fully staffed operation of Coble Trench Safety in the United States. We are fortunate to have Matt Coble and Matt Pace heading up our new Atlanta location.”
CTS, which was founded in October 2002, also has locations in Dundalk, Md.; Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro (in addition to the headquarters), N.C.; Manassas, Norfolk, and Richmond, Va.; and Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C. The company plans to open another branch or two this year and more to follow.
