Martinez, Calif.-based California Diesel & Power Inc. is helping restore power to businesses and consumers who have suffered outages as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The company, which rents generators and provides emergency power solutions, is often called upon to provide support during a catastrophe or natural disaster. It recently sent more than 65 generators to the East Coast, including the Multiquip Whisperwatt models pictured.
“CD & Power, Inc. has a long tradition of helping consumers and businesses during catastrophic events, and our team will work hard to get the lights back on in the damaged areas of the East Coast as quickly as possible” said Lisa Carter, CD & Power general manager. “In addition, the company is quickly responding to the needs of other rental companies who have exhausted their inventory of large generators and are now looking for a new supply source.”
CD & Power provided support in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina by sending a number of portable emergency generators and other equipment to New Orleans. “We had done so in the wake of Hurricane Irene and so too the wild fires in Washington State,” Carter said. “And here we are ready to do it all over again after Hurricane Sandy by providing generators that have always performed as expected.”
As a specialist provider of generators, transfer switch’s, equipment and trucking needs, CD & Power was established in 1985 by Chuck Uischner. For more information, visit www.gotpower.com/index.html.
