Sarah Rothenbuhler, president and general manager of Birch Equipment Rental & Sales has been honored as one of the top 40 executives under 40 years of age in the Greater Puget Sound area in Washington.
“Sarah’s business involves a very competitive rental equipment environment and she has been instrumental at the helm of turning around a long time company that had been experiencing losses and near sale to a profitable, civic minded company,” said Bill Unrein, president of the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club.
“Sarah deserves to be recognized for her dedication to creating a progressive, thriving, rental company. She finds humor and learning experiences in everything that crosses her path, and there’s always a lot crossing that path of hers,” said Ron Jansen, Birch’s fleet coordinator, who has been with the company for 21 years. “She definitely lives by the work hard, play hard, family friendly, team attitude that she expects from each of us.”
Birch Equipment is a locally owned equipment rental company with market areas of Washington and Alaska, with more than 40,000 pieces of equipment. Birch Stores are located in Anacortes, Bellingham and Mount Vernon, Wash., and in Sitka, Alaska.
