Badger Equipment Co. has added Louisiana Machinery Co. to its authorized dealer network for the 470TM telescoping boom excavator.
Headquartered in Reserve, La., Louisiana Cat serves the needs of clients involved in levee and dam construction, petroleum site development, land clearing, highway construction and the development of lignite mines. The company has 21 locations in and around New Orleans.
Louisiana Cat will concentrate on sales of the Badger Equipment 470TM telescoping boom excavator. Designed to do the work of six different machines, this truck-mounted excavator is drivable at highway speeds by a single operator, eliminating the need for a team to load, transport and unload it from a trailer. It is estimated to cut work time and man-hours by more than 75 percent, the maker says.
“We are excited to have Louisiana Cat join the Badger Equipment dealer network, and we are confident that the versatile 470TM telescoping boom excavator will meet the needs and budgets of Louisiana’s government entities and companies involved in construction, forestry, dredging, grading and mining,” said Badger Equipment general manager Ed Samera.
Louisiana Cat will also make the Badger Equipment 470TM available for rent through its rental subsidiary, Louisiana Rents.
“We are proud to be a dealer for the 470TM telescoping boom excavator and look forward to a long relationship with Badger Equipment,” said Jerry Edwards, vice president of machine sales for Louisiana Cat. “We’re confident that our clients will appreciate its highway-speed mobility, flexibility in confined areas and full-featured hydraulic remote drive.”
