Manitowoc Co. last week appointed Bloomington, Minn.-based Aspen Equipment as the dealer for its line of Grove mobile hydraulic cranes and Manitowoc lattice-boom crawler cranes for Iowa, Nebraska and western Illinois. The company has served as the dealer for National Crane boom trucks in the territory for more than 25 years.
Since adding the Grove and Manitowoc lines, the company is actively pursuing sales, rental, field service and parts opportunities throughout their territory. Tom Cherne, chief operating officer of Aspen Equipment, said he was excited about the addition of Grove and Manitowoc lines to the dealership.
“Our goal is to provide the same high level of sales and service support that has been the signature of Aspen Equipment for more than 80 years,” Cherne said. “We will combine that experience with the quality products and market leadership of Manitowoc, Grove, and National Crane.”
Headquartered in Manitowoc, Wis., the Manitowoc Co. is a global provider of lifting equipment for the global construction industry, including lattice-boom cranes, tower cranes, mobile telescopic cranes and boom trucks.
