Airport Equipment Rentals Donates Telehandlers for Alaska Ice Sculpture Competition
Telehandlers from Airport Equipment Rentals in Soldotna, Alaska, helped volunteers move blocks of ice from a frozen pond for an ice sculpture contest in advance of the 34th annual Peninsula Winter Games, which occurs annually near the Cook Inlet on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula.
A sales representantive for AER said about 100 squares, each weighing about 500 pounds, were distributed around town for the ice sculpture competition. AER supplied two Genie GTH-844 telehandlers, a Wacker 9.7-kw generator and a portable heater.
Airport Equipment Rentals also has rental centers in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Deadhorse and Delta Junction and offers Yale, Carelift and Harlo forklifts, as well as JLG and Genie telehandlers and aerial work platforms.
