Ahern to Build 20-Story High Rise

Don Ahern, CEO of Las Vegas-based Ahern Rentals, recently received unanimous city council approval to build a high-rise office building adjacent to a 9.5-acre Ahern Rentals rental center on the northwest edge of downtown Las Vegas.

The 246-foot-tall, 20-story tower will combine office and retail space, restaurants and parking. Ahern told RER that Ahern Rentals will occupy 130,000 to 140,000 square feet of office space, combining the company’s clerical and administrative headquarters. “We’ll occupy about 15 percent of the building,” Ahern said.

The building might also include a non-commercial helipad.

Ahern Rentals is No. 12 on the RER 100.
