Aggreko LLC, the world’s leading supplier of rental power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air, last week named Ray Debenedetto area sales manager for Aggreko’s West Area. Debenedetto will be responsible for the sales operations in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada, and will also focus on Aggreko’s entertainment and event activities throughout the region.
Before his current position, Debenedetto was regional sales manager for G.E. Energy Rentals, which Aggreko acquired in late 2006. He joined G.E. in 2000, opening a new location in Benicia, Calif., east of the San Francisco Bay area. After focusing on operations and sales for several years, Debenedetto moved into sales leadership.
“With Aggreko’s acquisition of G.E. Energy Rentals, we have been able to bring in a team of people with vast experience and knowledge of the rental industry,” said Gordon Broussard, West Area general manager. “Ray has proven to be a key asset for Aggreko and we believe he will be instrumental in laying the foundation for future growth of Aggreko’s west area operations.”
Headquartered in Scotland, with North America operations based in Houston, Aggreko North America is No. 13 on the RER 100.
