Able Power Rental Demonstrates at Business Disaster Preparedness Seminar

Able Equipment Rental showcased its transportable power generation and new Transcube Fuel Tank from its power and emergency service rental division,Able Power Rental, at the recent Business Preparedness for Disasters and Storms seminar at St. John’s University, Oakdale campus. The event was sponsored by the Islip, N.Y., Office of Emergency Management as well as the Long Island Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planning.

Industrial, consumer product, technology and communication companies, government representatives and others attended the seminar to learn how to best prepare for disasters and protect their organizations prior to and during a disrupting event. Presenters included Verizon, Macys, Adelphi University, various state agencies, New York state Assemblywoman Ginny Fields and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
