Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) celebrated the grand re-openings of its Springdale, Ark.-based facility on Oct. 25, and its Everett, Wash.-based facility on Oct. 26. The events, which drew more than 900 people and 475 people, respectively, showcased the facilities’ showroom and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.
Hertz opened in Everett in 1988 focusing on earth moving, material handling and aerial equipment. With this expansion Hertz adds general rental equipment for contractors and homeowners, industrial equipment for plants, military bases, lumber mills and other industrial opportunities with the heavy equipment used on large and small construction projects. In addition to the newly-expanded product line, the location still offers a wide assortment of general rental, industrial, material handling, aerial, trucks and earth moving equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl. The location is tied into a pool of 20 Puget Sound area HERC locations and has more than $20 million in equipment, with an average age of 19 months.
HERC’s Springdale location offers a broad range of new products, including roto-tillers, buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly-expanded product line, the location offers earth moving equipment by John Deere, Case, Ingersoll Rand; generators by Multi-Quip, Wacker; and small equipment by Honda, Target, Whitman, Dewalt, and Milwaukee. In addition, the location offers a variety of safety supplies, small hand tools and parts.
