Terex Launches Expanded Web Portal for North American Construction Distributors

Terex Launches Expanded Web Portal for North American Construction Distributors

Terex Construction now offers its North American distributors a single website — the Terex Construction Portal — to accommodate all their distribution needs, including sales, marketing, parts, service and warranty.

Originally designed as an online service site to get parts and technical information for Terex construction equipment, the new Terex Construction Portal is an expanded, one-stop source of information for Terex distributors.

“With its expanded offerings, our distributors will be able to use the Terex Construction Portal to file warranty claims, order parts, get technical and pricing information on equipment, learn about financing promotions and more,” said Hannah Tanata, marketing manager for Terex Construction Americas.

All authorized Terex distributors have a unique login and password for the portal, allowing them to access materials that are relevant to the Terex equipment they distribute. Through the portal, distributors can access the most current information for all Terex construction equipment, which includes compact track loaders, telehandlers, wheel loaders, excavators, tractor loader backhoes, site dumpers, compaction rollers, articulated and rigid trucks and tracked utility vehicles.

As part of its expanded services, the Terex Construction Portal offers distributors parts management and ordering capabilities for stock and emergency parts orders.

“With a simple point-and-click, our distributors can now place their parts orders within seconds,” said Mark Luttmann, aftermarket parts sales manager for Terex Construction Americas. “Distributors can set up stock parts orders to ship out on a weekly basis, or put in emergency orders before 8 p.m. central time for same-day shipping. Distributors can also choose the shipping method that best meets their needs — ground, next-day air or second-day air from either FedEx or UPS.”

Warranty claims can also be filed through the Terex Construction Portal. Claims are handled by the Terex in-house warranty department and are processed in an average of 15 days from filing.
