Montreal, Quebec-based TECSYS, a supply-chain management software company, announced last week that Wagner Equipment Co., a major Caterpillar dealer based in Denver, Co., selected TECSYS’ EliteSeries Warehouse Management System for IBM iSeries to manage its growing logistics operations of 31 facilities including distribution centers and outlets in three states.

Wagner is one of the largest Caterpillar dealers and the exclusive provider of Caterpillar products and services in Colorado, New Mexico and far-west Texas. The company needed to move away from its labor-intensive logistics operations and to acquire a warehouse management system compatible with the Caterpillar dealer environment. It also needed a system that provides clear visibility across the enterprise and supports its vital customer services operations in real time.
