Sunbelt Rentals was awarded the “Best Mobile SFA/CRM” in Mobile Enterprise’s Mobilizer Awards for its company-wide launch of Mobile SalesPro, an iPhone application developed to provide employees with an efficient and effective way to communicate internally and externally.
“Our sales representatives get in a truck in the morning and drive from jobsite to jobsite, office to office, and they don’t slow down,” said John Stadick, vice president of IT for the Fort Mill, S.C.-based rental company. “iPhone works better for them than a laptop because of the power of the platform and its ease of use.”
Mobile Enterprise presents the Mobilizer Awards to corporations, agencies and organizations annually for achievements demonstrated in deploying mobile and wireless solutions that improve business processes and provide positive return on investment. Award categories include Best in Field Service, Best in Supply Chain/DSD, Best Enterprise-wide Mobility Deployment, Best Mobile SFA/CRM and Best IT Management of Mobile Devices.
Among the 2009 award recipients were Anheuser Busch InBev (Best in Supply Chain/DSD); and the University of California San Diego (Best Enterprise-Wide Mobility Deployment). Sunbelt Rentals was the only company in the tool and equipment rental industry to win an award or receive honorable mention this year.
Sunbelt Rentals is No. 3 on the RER 100.
