Metrolift Launches New Website

Sugar Grove, Ill.-based Metrolift, Inc., a leading independently owned, full-service provider of aerial lift equipment and services last week announced that it has officially launched its new website, Metrolift.com. The professionally designed, easy-to-navigate site was created to be a useful resource for Metrolift’s contractor and industrial customers who primarily work in the Chicagoland market.

“Metrolift is excited to provide our customers with an online resource that will help them work more efficiently,” said Rick Dahl, Metrolift president.

The site features downloadable specification sheets for rental products carried as well as a complete listing for its entire fleet including floor loads and tire type. Additionally, the site enables customers to contact Metrolift’s rental or sales departments to request quotes or information at any time of day. The site also features dozens of useful links providing customers with industry news, weather forecasts and even local gas prices.

Metrolift sales manager, John Hofmeyer and Metrolift’s marketing department developed the content, navigation and overall blueprint of the site. The company enlisted Bartlett, Ill.-based marketing communications firm Vitek Design to design a site that stood out when compared to other rental companies’ websites.

“When users log onto Metrolift.com they will immediately know the types of equipment that we rent and sell, and will also be able to download equipment spec sheets, request a quote, inquire about hard to find parts and check to see if their job is going to be rained out tomorrow — all in about 90 seconds,” said Hofmeyer. Easy navigation, pertinent information, and professional-looking graphics and design were Metrolift’s main objectives in the development of the site.

Metrolift is already planning a second phase of the site that will allow customers to check account balances, see what equipment they have on rent, reprint contracts and access other account information. The company hopes the site will not only be a useful one-stop online resource for its customers but that it will also allow Metrolift sales and administrative personnel to work more efficiently.

Metrolift is No. 103 on the RER 100.
