Maxima Holdings, an IT business systems and managed services company, has announced a major multi-million pound contract from U.K. rental company Hewden to deliver a next-generation integrated business management and CRM solution.

With the agreement, Hewden will deploy a more agile, integrated ERP and CRM approach based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 software, along with sector-specific application solutions from Maxima’s own Microsoft Dynamics for the Construction Industry portfolio, including specialist HR, equipment rental and cross-hire capabilities.

Maxima will work closely with Hewden, initially deploying the company’s Microsoft applications on premise, but also offering the flexibility to move to a hosted, cloud-enabled environment at a later date.
