Milwaukee-based ARI, a provider of technology-enabled business solutions designed to help equipment dealers, distributors and manufacturers build sales and profits, last week announced that Central Power Systems of Columbus, Ohio, and Tampa, Fla., has selected ARI’s PartSmart Web electronic parts catalog and PartSmart Cart for use by its internal staff and dealers throughout North America.
Under the agreement, ARI will host PartSmart Web, provide ongoing updates for supported manufacturer catalogs and support an interface to Central Power Systems’ website. Using PartSmart Web, Central Power Systems’ dealers will have on-demand access to the parts catalogs for Briggs & Stratton, Briggs & Stratton Power Products, Briggs & Stratton Motor Sports, Murray, Dolmar Power Products and Electrolux Consumer Products. In addition, dealers will be able to submit online purchase orders 24/7 using ARI’s shopping cart feature. The solution was launched earlier this month.
Central Power Systems distributes small engines, service parts and outdoor power equipment through a network of 6,000 registered service dealers in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania, the panhandle of Maryland, Florida and the Bahamas.
ARI is a provider of electronic parts catalogs and other technology-enabled services designed to increase sales and profits for dealers, distributors and manufacturers in the manufactured equipment markets.
